Choice Books set over 2,100 temporary floor displays in retail stores for the Easter holiday season. Choice Books generally sees an increase in book sales during the holidays and thus offers retailers temporary floor displays designed for a specific holiday – i.e. Easter; Christmas.
Fears that a surge in sales of new digital reading devices over the Christmas holidays would result in plunging print trade sales in January proved unfounded, according to the Association of American Publishers (AAP) newly revised monthly sales report.
Sales of religious books were up for January, according to the latest monthly figures available from the Association of American Publishers (AAP). The group’s Monthly StatShot report included data from 1,149 publishers, including eChristian, Crossway, David C Cook, Gospel Light, Moody Publishers, Thomas Nelson and Tyndale House Publishers, among others.
Choice Books sold 525,929 books in February 2012, for a year-to-date increase of 16.48% compared to the same period in 2011. At the current pace, Choice Books could top the previous record set in 2008 of selling 5.5 million books in one year and could possibly sell as many as 6 million books in 2012.
