Who is Choice Books of Ohio?
Choice Books of Ohio is a regional distributor organization authorized to use the “Choice Books” trademark and managed by a board of directors. As a witness to the “good news” of Jesus Christ, Choice Book of Ohio distributes inspirational and wholesome reading materials to a wide variety of people in the general marketplace.

Choice Books of Ohio was started in 1964 by Orrin Eichelberger and operated under the name “Life-Line Books” until 1973 when it changed its name to Choice Books of Ohio. In 2007, Choice Books of Ohio sold over 140,000 books from 338 displays. Jan Sohar is the current executive director.

Choice Books of Ohio purchases books from the Choice Books Central Office and then sells the books to various retail locations with full return privileges. Books that are returned in saleable condition are resold. Books that cannot be resold, are either sold at a discount or donated.

Choice Books of Ohio selects titles that are consistent with the mission of the organization and titles that attempt to encourage, uplift and impact the life of the reader.

Choice Books of Ohio services the northern one third of the state of Ohio and a portion of western Pennsylvania from their office/warehouse location in Kidron, OH.
