| Who is Choice Books
of Midwest? Choice Books of Midwest is a regional distributor organization authorized to use the “Choice Books” trademark and managed by a board of directors. As a witness to the “good news” of Jesus Christ, Choice Book of Midwest distributes inspirational and wholesome reading materials to a wide variety of people in the general marketplace. |
| Choice Books of Midwest began as Choice Books of Illinois in 1988 under the leadership of Rick Zoss. In its first year of operations, Choice Books of Illinois sold 3,351 books from 15 displays. In 1993, Choice Books of Iowa/Nebraska merged with Choice Books of Illinois which later became Choice Books of Midwest. In 2007, the organization sold 226,621 books from about 300 displays in Illinois and surrounding states. John Gerber is the current executive director. |
| Choice Books of Midwest purchases books from the Choice Books Central Office and then sells the books to various retail locations with full return privileges. Books that are returned in saleable condition are resold. Books that cannot be resold as new are either sold at a discount or donated. |
| Choice Books of Midwest selects titles that are consistent with the mission of the organization and titles that attempt to encourage, uplift and impact the life of the reader. |
| Servicing Region
and Office Locations Choice Books of Midwest services displays in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and portions of Missouri and Michigan. Choice Books of Midwest’s main office is located in Metamora, IL, with a District office located in Owen, WI. |
